Prices are in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate for EU destinations. Shipping is shown separately at checkout and is set out on the shipping page.
For deliveries to the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, prices exclude import duty and local VAT, which the carrier charges you on delivery.
Where a product shows a reduced price against a higher one, the higher figure is the price we ourselves charged for that item for at least 30 consecutive days in the six months before the reduction. We do not inflate a reference price in order to advertise a discount.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send the dispatch confirmation. Until then we may decline an order — for example if an item is out of stock or a price was listed in error — and if you have paid, we refund in full.
Linen is piece-dyed in batches and reactive glazes react differently on every piece, so shade and surface vary between items and from the photographs. That is a property of the materials and is not a defect.
Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
Delivery times on the shipping page are estimates in working days, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel does not arrive, tell us and we will chase the carrier and either replace the order or refund it.
As a consumer you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. We extend this voluntarily to 30 days, and to 30 nights for bedding, which may be returned washed and used. Everything else must be unused. Return postage is yours unless the item was faulty or we sent the wrong thing.
We refund within 14 days of the return arriving, to the original payment method.
You have a statutory right to goods that conform to the contract, which under EU and Dutch law runs for two years. On top of that we offer a 30-night sleep trial on bedding: you may return it for a full refund even after it has been slept in and laundered, which goes beyond the statutory right of withdrawal. Details are on the shipping and returns page. Neither offer replaces or limits your statutory rights.
The product names, photographs, text and designs on this site belong to us. Every piece in the range is made to our own specification — we do not make, sell or copy other companies' designs or trade marks, and nothing here is offered as a version of another brand's product.
We are liable for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms, and we do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under Dutch law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Email support@avenlose.com. We acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 14 days. If we cannot agree, you may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
Dutch law applies, and the courts of the Netherlands have jurisdiction. This does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence.
